My morning view, after my chilly walk. Double Orioles. The man who feeds them. 🍊 Figuring things out.
My dancer in the orange hat. I absolutely love old cemeteries. One of my favorite things, actually. Walking with my friend who appreciates them, too. Marveling at the stones that have stood there for hundreds of years and the flowers that show up every one of those years.
Wee yellow flowers in a bed of moss. How adorable is that? 😍 I woke up this morning (early, which was nice) and didn’t feel so great (maybe one glass of Mother’s Day wine too many 😬). But I got up and put on some uplifting citrus oils, got outside and everything got better. I love seeing the moon in the morning. The field smelled so good today. No social distancing here! Life continues to unfurl. On my way back the the house, I noticed this tree about to flower. So much beauty and hope in a bud. I love that they took the time to create something for me. The two of them upstairs choosing the wool and the colors. One decides to have his gnome carry a sign, the other displays his message on his back. Still sweet at 12. ♥️
I heard a bobolink this morning and we spotted an oriole yesterday. My hair looks pretty good this morning! I was able to get some satisfying thoughts out of my head and on the page. Always grateful for that. *sigh* Ok, gotta shift it. 1. It IS melting and it IS pretty. 2. This will keep the black flies away! 😆 3. Chuckles from the other room. 4. Here comes the BLUE! 5. The house finch. 1. Opening the green door on a chilly, sunny morning. 2. 3. Blue and blooms. 4. Loose tea. 5. When my kids know more that I do. I’m finding right now that I have good days and bad days. There’s really is no way to track or understand why one day is good and one is bad. It seems to be totally random (but it’s probably not.)
Today was a good one and it’s obvious why— Totally gorgeous today, everyone active and busy. The moon is out and the sky is clear. I have a case of kombucha in the fridge and some spicy tequila in my glass. I sit on my back “porch” and feel the sun on my face. So good. 1. The availability and presence of a good worker.
2. An Up day...phew. 3. New tractor 4. New clippers 5. This guy Cold and rainy. Gotta dig deep...again.
1. Grapefruit and thyme. 2. Clean, soft sheets. 3. Spandex! I’m old enough to remember life before this miracle fabric. 4. A chat with Fran and Pam ♥️ 5. They finally fixed this app. |
