Attentiveness is the

Pay attention, there is no time to rush. |
At the end of my yoga class today the teacher told us all to appreciate ourselves for showing up and getting on the mat. She said we were strong and healthy and capable. I lay there in my savasana and I knew she was right.
And then I had an idea (as is what usually happens when I am in this lovely state). I've decided that Friday's are going to be devoted to me. I wanted to incorporate one thing that I appreciated about myself into my everyday practice, but sometimes I get so caught up in the excitement of all of my grate things that I forget about including me. So I'm going to give this a whirl and see how it feels. I'm going to go easy and not make too many rules (my internal gratitude police can just chill!) because this is a hard one--proclaiming what what I like about myself and putting it out there for anyone to see. But I know it is important and I believe that we all all magnificent creatures. We just sometimes need to practice to see it. I do think you should join me, in your head, on your screen or on paper. It can only make the world better. So here goes for this first fabulous Friday:
Simple. Powerful. And, yes...Fabulous. Comments are closed.
